The actor, who has kept away from politics all this while, despite being approached by several political parties, may give his consent to join the BJP soon.Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his upcoming film Lingaa. It is being speculated that the actor may join the BJP after he wraps up the shoot of the film. Speculation for the same increased after a Tamil Nadu BJP leader, Tamilisai Soundararajan, was recently invited to the star's home by his wife, Latha Rajinikanth. It has been rumoured that the two spoke about Rajini's prospects in the ruling party.
Insiders have revealed that the local leader met Latha since Rajnikanth was not in Chennai. If sources are to be believed, then the superstar may soon be set to take over the political arena as well.
