Shighi's husband, 44-year-old Pullarkattil Kunjunny Rethish Kumar, was later discovered hanging near a reservoir in Forest Road, Walthamstow, a few miles away from his home.
The family hasn't however been formally identified.
The wife is said to be a social worker for Havering council while her husband worked for the Redbridge leisure services. They married in 2001 and the twins went to Chadwell Heath Academy. The family was said to be active members of the local East London Malayalee Association.

The Yard sad it is confident of the identities of the four members who died at the address in Grove Road. "Post-mortem examinations are due to commence today at East Ham Mortuary. We will not speculate on cause of death, however the female bodies have no signs of visible injuries," the Yard said.
An investigation was launched after police went to a house in Grove Road at 1pm on Tuesday in response to concerns about the welfare of the residents. The police officers broke in and found the bodies of a woman and two girls.
At 6 pm the same day, police were called to an area by a covered reservoir to reports of a 44-year-old man found hanging. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detective Superintendent Kenny McDonald, who is overseeing the investigation said, "At this stage we are awaiting the outcome of the postmortems to confirm cause of death, which will provide further evidence of what has taken place inside the house at Grove Road. However, at this stage in our ongoing investigation we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths. We are making extensive enquiries to trace next of kin, who we believe to be outside of the UK."
