Swapnil Bandodkar with Sulagna Panigrahi in a still from the filmIshq Wala Love Rating: 4 Music: S J Suryah, Avinash-Vishwajeet, Sagar Madhur
Now this is an album that deserves listening on a loop. With a fabulous combination of melody and great singing, the music soothes your mind.Out of the 11 tracks, 'Ishq ho gaya' composed by debutant Sagar Madhur and sung by Prashant Patil is a love track with Hindi lyrics. The guitar strumming and minimal beats make it a perfect romantic number. Mohit Chauhan's rendition of 'Hello kashi ahes tu' is another gem. Mohit adds more beauty to the already beautiful music. It is also a song that introduces the lead actor in the film and plays throughout at regular intervals.
'Ase koni' has been crooned by Chinmayi Sripada Vishwajeet and Vaishali Samant and is an average track compared to the others on the list. 'Tu disata' is by far the best composition of the album. It has Swapnil Bandodkar and Anandi Joshi singing a sensuous and romantic duet high on jazz. Swapnil's deep and melodious voice is beautiful and complements Anandi's voice.
'Tu nasata' is a sad version of Tu disata and has Anandi at her best. It is a short track and low on music, thereby giving her scope to exhibit her singing prowess. Swapnil goes solo on another version of 'Tu disata' and gives his best again. 'Mazhe tuzhe' has two youngsters crooning a peppy number. Mangesh Borgaonkar and Ketaki Mategaonkar sing this one which has an undertone of sadness of separation. The killer duo of Bela Shende and Swapnil sing 'Jeev guntata', the Marathi version of 'Ishq ho gaya', and make it sound better than the original. The tabla beats on this track give a unique touch to it as opposed to the guitar melody of 'Ishq ho gaya'. 'Bolato te' sung by Hrishikesh Ranade has a classical quality to it and is quite different than the other tracks of the album. 'Bhui bhijali' is a traditional baby shower song that is accompanied by dholki and shehnai tunes. Maithili Joshi, Vaishali Samant and Aanandi Joshi's voices suit the song well.
'Beating beating' is the last track on the list. It is a fast-paced song sung by Abhijeet Sawant, Anandi and Neha Rajpal. A part of it is similar to 'Deva tuzhya gaabharyala' from 'Duniyadari' but other than that, it is an average track.
