| Trisha to Romance Siddharth After DecadeActors Siddharth and Trisha are teaming up almost after a decade. Trisha and Sid are pairing up for upcoming Tamil film "Aranmanai 2" to be directed by Sundar C. Trisha is playing the female lead in the sequel of Aranmanai while Hansika Motwani was the heroine in the Aranmanai. Actress Khushboo, who is the producer of the movie, corroborated the news. She added that the movie will feature more stars and has asked everyone to wait for the official announcement from her production company. "Yes # ARANMANAI-2 has @trishtrashers n @Actor_Siddharth but it's a super multistarcast..pls wait 4 the official anncmnt frm my prod. house," wrote Khushboo on her micro-blogging page. |
Siddharth and Trisha were earlier seen in superhit Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana which was later remade in Hindi as well. After decade both Sid and Trisha are teaming up and this is first-time Trisha is acting in Sundar C's film. Sid earlier worked with Sundar C in Something Something (Telugu version of Tamil hit 'Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru')
'Aranmanai' which was released in September 2014, is a Tamil comedy film and was a huge box office hit. Meanwhile, the reasons for replacing Hansika with Trisha in the sequel are not revealed yet.
