The annual flower show exhibition at Bengaluru's Lalbagh was thrown open for public on Friday to celebrate the 69th Independence Day. The week-long flower show was inaugurated by Mysuru's royal family's Yaduveer Wadiyar and his mother Pramoda Devi. This year's flower show has been dedicated to the Wadiyar dynasty, the former rulers of Mysuru. Statues of the Mysuru Royals highlighting their contribution to the state have been erected. There is also a photo exhibition on the history of the Wadiyar family.
