KOCHI: The Kerala State Electricity Board on Thursday slapped a Rs 8,000 fine on former minister and expelled Congress leader T H Mustafa for stealing electricity. The anti-power theft squad of the KSEB on Thursday raided Mustafa's residence at Perumbavoor in Ernakulam and found that he used power supplied for agriculture for domestic purpose.
KSEB also served a bill of Rs 35,000 towards consumption charges. An official said Mustafa's action came under the purview of power theft.
