Daagudumootha Dandakor Movie Review: A Beautiful Telugu Film

Amidst the commercial and masala driven Telugu films, Daagudumootha Dandakor has come out as an simple and promising Telugu story. Let us see how far it impressed the audience. Daagudumootha Dandakor Story: It is a simple story with great humor, family relationships and celebrations. Can you believe it had a rooster (yes, the hen) for a protagonist in the film. The movie laced around a little girl and her grand father and how an entire village comes alive in search of that little girl's favorite, Nagi, the rooster. Performances: Rajendra Prasad, who is known for his humor, has come out of his shell and proved that he can make belief of any character. He is amazing as an optimistic, good natured and a cheerful man in the film. Sara Arjun spills her charm and innocence over the film to win the hearts of everyone just like she did in her previous hit film, Nanna. Siddhu, Nithya and other cast were moderate enough. Technical Aspects: First and foremost, A L Vijay, who has written and directed the film in Tamil, has to be appreciated for such a charming feel-good gem of a movie. It is light, easy and enjoyable family entertainer, with a message that touches you deep in heart. Director of Daagudumootha Dandakor, R K Malineni has to be equally appaluded for not spoiling the feel and maintaining the same quality even in its Telugu version. Music by E S Murthy pulls you heart strings at the right chords. Cinematography by V S Jnansekhar was commendable as he portrayed beautiful locales of Indian villages much more beautiful and serene. Overview: Though the films has its flaws, at a time when slapstick comedies and senseless action films are dished out week after week, Daagudumootha Dandakor is a bitter-sweet tale of human lives.
